Ethan Sherman moves between styles with ease. He is known for leading intrepid trios showcasing spare yet expansive original music as well as being an integral part of LA’s vanguard of young guitarists. He has sunk his teeth into acoustic music through collaborations with Thomas Cassell, Ben Garnett and the one-of-a-kind Harmolodic String Band — a quartet performing the music of Ornette Coleman on bluegrass instruments. He has worked with Aoife O’Donovan, Johanna Samuels, and Lydia Luce, as well as boundary-busting guitarists like Nels Cline and Robert Fripp, and pop starlet Ava Max. He holds a Studio Guitar degree from USC. He’ll be joined by Carey Frank on B3 and Matt Mayhall on drums. Multi-instrumentalist, Drew Taubenfeld, has played in the Emmy Awards house band and worked as musical director for Leon Bridges, Maggie Rogers, Selena Gomez, Meghan Trainor, Logic, and King Princess. He’ll be joined by pedal steel virtuoso, Rich Hinman.
